Meet Our Staff
Erin N./BABS
Executive Director
Erin, Executive Director, joined the Colorado Lions Camp team in November 2018. She was born and raised in Kansas and attended Fort Hays State University in Hays, Kansas. There, she earned her Bachelor's degree in Recreation and Sports Management. Her career in camps has given her a wide range of experiences. She has served as a Camp Counselor, Aquatics Director, Program Director, Camp Director, and now Executive Director.
Erin has been involved in various boards and committees. She has sat on the ACA Illinois board for over 10 years, and within that organization was the membership chair for ACA Illinois. She also served on the Mid States Camping Committee, where not only did she organize the 3-day conference, but also led sessions on raising a family in the camping world. She built her career as the director at Camp Red Leaf, where she took the camp from 200 children and adults to 800 in her tenure there. She had the opportunity to make the camp more accessible by adding a treehouse, sensory room, and open floor plans for campers to get around with no limitations.
Witnessing firsthand the impact camp has on the campers, it also has an impact on the staff. Camp allows you to experience what outside the box means and how you will be the world to one person. Erin lives by the quote, "to the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world."
Angela W./Cali
Business Manager
Angela, Business Manager, joined the Colorado Lions Camp team in July 2020. She served in her role until September 2022, when she and her family moved to Washington state for a new adventure. She is taking time out of that continued adventure to join us once again as our Business Manager, and we are beyond excited for her to be back on our team! She comes with a wealth of knowledge on both business and camp.
She is a proud mom to her two boys and spends as much time as she can with them. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and going on walks with her dachshund, Steve. Angela actively gives back to her community through her continued volunteer work. She is also working on obtaining her Master’s in Business. One of her favorite quotes is “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”
Where We Are and What We Do
