Celebrating 50 years of serving
the special needs community!
Colorado Lions Camp
In honor of this momentous celebration, the Colorado Lions Camp is launching its “50,000 for 50 Years Giving Tree Challenge”. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through contributions from our Lions Clubs, camp families, and friends who support our inclusive camping programs throughout the year. This event will launch on November 15, 2019, and run through Friday, July 31, 2020. Donations can be made from the online event link OR sent directly to our camp office.
Since 1969, the Colorado Lions Camp has been a vital local and state resource to the special needs community. Our adaptive camping programs have provided thousands of life-changing experiences to our campers with disabilities age 8 to senior adults while providing much-needed respite services to their caregivers. Camp greatly impacts our participant’s emotional, physical, and social well-being, as we focus to challenge their abilities and embrace their individual differences.
When you contribute at the Giving Tree Challenge Level, you (or your Lions Club) will receive a personalized leaf that will be placed on our “50th Giving Tree” located on the wall of the main lodge where it will remain for eternity. Most importantly, you will be investing in the lives of our special needs communities and their families. Your gift will go directly to support our program and supply needs to better serve our campers who have varying disabilities. Please note, this fundraising campaign is in addition to our regularly scheduled campership and Lions Club donations needs.
