"Thank you for helping me go to your camp.  Every year I am so excited when we get to the month of June and I will go back to camp.  It is so much fun doing the high ropes course, roasting marshmallows, and seeing my old friends.  Camp is my favorite thing to do!"

Colorado Lions Camp is excited to offer respite care weekends for our campers with special needs.

We employ a variety of staff who are passionate about what they do.  Our staff is creative, energetic and compassionate individuals who love spending time with our campers during our weekends at camp.  Our counselors are CPR and First Aid certified, and we also provide RN's or LPN's licensed to administer medications.

Each respite weekend is limited to 15 campers.

Cost: $200.00* (if self-pay) or the camp can bill Medicaid directly for respite care services.  Please check with your case manager to make sure the respite camp is available for your service plan.  Authorization will need to be submitted to camp prior to attending your registered dates.  Camperships are unavailable for our fall and winter respite camps.

Activities include outdoor activities (weather permitting), crafts, cooking, indoor games, campfires, music, nature studies and much more!

REMINDER: Campers will check-in at camp on Friday between 6-7 pm and pickup is by 11 am on Sunday.
