Respite Information Update

We at Colorado Lions Camp have taken new precautions to ensure the safety of our campers, staff, and families.  We are asking that you follow these simple steps for Thursday check-in and Sunday check-out.  Help us to follow these procedures and please be patient during this process.

Thursday Check-In: 1:00 pm

  • You will be assigned a SPECIFIC TIME to check-in. We are unable to accommodate early check-ins. PLEASE enter on the backside of the main lodge. All doors on the lower level of the building will be locked.

  • During check-in, the camper will be escorted by only ONE parent/guardian/caregiver. Please have all other family members wait in your vehicle. Both camper and authorized individual checking in the camper MUST wear a mask. No exceptions.

  • Please DO NOT get out of your car.  Our greeter will come to get you at your assigned time. You will get your temperature checked (touch-free) and will be required to answer a few COVID-19 related health questions by our greeter to determine if you can safely enter the building. Please be honest!

  • Please provide a mask(s) for your camper for the whole weekend.

  • Please have medication pre-poured in a med-minder box with enough meds for the weekend. You will also need to bring the original pill bottle(s) with one pill for pill verification. Please make sure you provide enough medication or your camper will be sent home and will be unable to attend camp. Refer to the enclosed medication check-in instructions.

  • Please wear your mask upon arrival and all through the check-in and check-out process.

  • During check-in and check-out, please DO NOT linger and remember to social distance with staff and other individuals.

Sunday Check-Out:   11:00 am

  • Park in a single line at the back of the main lodge. DO NOT get out of your car. A staff member will walk your camper and their luggage to your car.

  • Our nurse will bring out all medication and check-out sheets to your car and can answer any questions you may have.

  • Please remember we are unable to accommodate late check-outs.  A fee of $75.00 will be charged for all late pickups.
