Summer 2023 Information Overview

Thank you so much for being interested in the Colorado Lions Camp, a place where campers can participate in a variety of adapted outdoor and recreational activities, make new friends, and explore new opportunities. Whether you are a returning camper or a first-timer, there is always something new to experience at the Colorado Lions Camp!

Our program serves individuals with disabilities, ages 8 to senior adults. Our activities are specifically designed to meet the needs of individuals with: Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, blind or visual impairments, deaf or hard of hearing, physical disabilities, or psychological conditions.

All applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is a limited amount of spaces for each session available. Once these spots have been filled, the session will be closed.

Summer 2023 is just around the corner and we at Colorado Lions Camp are so excited to see your smiling faces (well under those masks).  We have some new guidelines that we want to get out to you before your arrival.

Due to updated guidelines we need a few things from families/caregivers to make this summer safe and successful.  If you have your COVID-19 vaccine, could you please provide a copy of it to us before you arrive to camp.  If you don’t have the vaccine or are not planning on getting it, then you will need to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test that was taken at least 2 days prior to arriving for your session.

Masks will be deemed as optional at this time, but are subject to change before your campers session. Please be flexible with us at this time.
We are asking that you log the campers temperature two weeks prior to camp and bring that sheet to check-in.  We will screen each person and their driver before entering the building.  Please note you will only be allowed one person to accompany the camper at check-in.  We will still be giving campers awards on Fridays, but unfortunately no guests will be allowed.

We ask that you follow these guidelines and protocols so we can run a safe and successful summer.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding,

There are a limited number of camperships available to help cover the cost. Please download a Campership Request Form and send it to the camp along with the camper application.

Please follow our Facebook Page to stay up to date on the latest.
